Hooksett’s Boy Scout Troop 292 is offering a new post-holiday service and fundraiser – Christmas tree recycling! Your Christmas tree has been a festive friend for weeks, but its season is nearly over and it will soon be time to move on. While the town of Hooksett will take away your discarded tree, they only pick them up on your trash day in one specific week, usually mid-January. What if you want your tree gone sooner, or want to enjoy it later into January or beyond? Troop 292 has the solution! Sign up for our recycling service, and you can choose any date starting on Dec. 28th and running as late into the spring as you’d like! Sign up below with your address and choice of pickup date, and we'll take care of the rest. On your pick-up day, just leave your tree by the street and we’ll take it away to be fed to the goats at Forgotten Farm. Please be sure to remove all decorations from your tree, and thank you for your support!
On the registration form, please be sure to check the box for "Share your mailing address" so we know where to pick up your tree.
In the "Write a note" field, enter your choice of pickup date.
Suggested donation is $10 per tree.
